Meet Michael
Comedian. Writer. Your Vow Coach.
Michael Bevan has always had a gift for getting people to open up.
Raised by two therapists, he grew up understanding the power of a good question, a thoughtful conversation, and the extraordinary things people reveal when they feel truly heard.
As a New York City comedian and writer, Michael has been featured in The New Yorker and the New York Comedy Festival. His work is rooted in the belief that the most memorable stories are equal parts humor, honesty, and heart.
His love of storytelling eventually found its way into the world of weddings. Having spent years behind the scenes of New York's most beautiful celebrations, Michael developed an intimate understanding of the care, choreography, and emotion that go into an unforgettable wedding day. He went on to write and officiate the ceremony of a wedding featured in Vogue, an experience that deepened his appreciation for the privilege of telling rsomeone else's love story.
The Vow Coach was born from a simple belief: the most meaningful words aren't necessarily the most elaborate. They're the ones that could only come from you.
Today, Michael brings together his instincts as a comedian, his experience as an officiant, and his natural curiosity about people to help couples discover what they truly want to say—and find the confidence to say it beautifully.
